Here are my commission base rates for art and illustration projects along with diferent types and formats for the illustration.

Character Portraits

Potraits are framed head to chest. The character can show heir hands

Simple Portrait Illustration $100

  • Vertical format 4:3 Ratio
  • Simple Background

Detailed Portrait Illustration $150

  • Vertical or Horizontal Format 4:3 or 16:9 ratio
  • Environment Background (blurred background or simple elements)
Commission Art Portraits

Half Body Character Illustration

Head to mid-thigh framing. The character can have one element (weapon, tool, or magic effect)

Simple Half Body Illustration $175

  • Vertical format 4:3 Ratio
  • Simple Background

Detailed Half Body Illustration $250

  • Vertical format 4:3 or 16:9 ratio
  • Environment Background (blurred background or simple elements)

Complex Half Body Illustration $300

  • Vertical or Horizontal format 4:3 or 16:9 ratio
  • Landscape detailed background
  • Add one extra weapon, tool, or effect
Halfbody Commissions Albert Cordero

To add an extra weapon, tool or effect, it would be $25 extra. Adding another character would cost $150 extra. For more than three characters, negotiating the price can be an option. Things to keep in mind are the complexity of the project and other elements in the picture that might fit more in the “Scenes or Key Art Illustration” category.

Full Body Character Illustration

Character’s full body is show in the picture, can have any pose but not extreme camera angles. Also, the character can have 1 element (weapon, tool or magic effect)

Simple Full Body Illustration $275

  • Vertical format 4:3 Ratio
  • Simple Background

Detailed full Body Illustration $330

  • Vertical format 4:3 or 16:9 ratio
  • Enviroment Background (blurred background or simple elements)

Complex Full Body Illustration $400

  • Vertical or Horizontal format 4:3 or 16:9 ratio
  • Detailed Landscape Background
  • Add 1 extra weapons, tools or effects

Scenes or Key Art Illustration

Fully rendered scene Illustration ≥ $600

This illustrations are special as they try to tell a story or have a special requirements in a scene, most of the time it involves dinamic compositions, camera angles, research and refereces, color grading and concept art. A starting base price for this kind of illustration is set to be $600 but it may change according to the specific needs and complexity of the project.
